How often are Cozy Cabin Kennels and suites cleaned?
We don’t believe our pet guests can be safe and comfortable in a dirty room. All Bunkhouse Suites and Cozy Cabin Kennels are cleaned every morning with a hospital grade cleaner killing all germs. We get here M-F at 6am and Saturday and Sunday at 7am to start our cleaning process. All Cozy Cabin Kennel’s and suites are inspected throughout the day and cleaned whenever they are soiled.
Where do you take the dogs during walks?
For the safety and comfort of our pet guests, all walks take place in one of our 3 fenced in potty yards. Our yards are secured with 10ft fencing.
How many times a day do the dogs get to go potty?
We walk the dogs every 2 to 3 hours. The last walk is 7:30pm to 8pm Monday - Friday and 5:30pm to 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
How long do the dogs stay out during their potty time?
We leave each dog out for a period of 5 to 10 minutes each walk in one of our 3 potty yards.
Do you board aggressive pets?
We ask the Pet Parent specific questions about their pet’s behavior. For the safety of our staff, if we believe that a pet may be aggressive towards people, we take extra steps in caring for your pet. We always give the pet a chance. However, if a pet is aggressive towards other pets, he/she can board with us but cannot take part in group playtime or Day Camp.
What if a dog acts aggressively during its stay?
If a dog acts aggressively during his/her stay, we will not allow the dog to participate in doggie daycare or have walks while other pet guests are walking. Depending on the severity of the dog’s behavior, we might have the Pet Parent or Agent pick up the dog immediately. If the Pet parent or Agent cannot be reached or is not able to pick up the pet, we would care for the dog and advise the Pet Parents at checkout that their dog should stay elsewhere due to their behavior. We may advise the Pet Parent to speak with the Bo’s Bunkhouse Pet Trainer to learn more about our Training Programs.
What type of security do you have?
Your pet’s safety and comfort are our primary responsibilities. We have designed every part of the Bunkhouse to insure a safe and secure stay.
Security alarm system is used in case of fire or threat.
Seamless (very few seams), sealed concrete floors for easy cleaning.
Ultra Violent Light air purification system incorporated into the ac/heating units. (just like at the SPCA & in hospitals)
Rubber floors in play rooms for feet & joints.
Powder-Coated wire on Cozy Cabin kennels, not chain-link, so as to not absorb germs.
Solid partitions on lower half of Cozy Cabin's to prevent cross contamination and reduce stress.
Floor drains for better cleaning (power wash)
Artificial turf in all 3 potty yards
Whenever a dog is out of its room or suite, he/she is on a Bo’s Bunkhouse leash - whether he/she is going on a walk or being taken to play time.

We’ve gone to every extent to ensure you have peace of mind that your pet will be safe, loved and have a great time while in our care. To help your pet (and you) adjust to being away from home, we suggest that you come in for a tour of our facility and then we can talk to you about the amenities first hand of our facility.
