Bo's Story

Bo was a small hungry puppy when he was found abandoned in a field. His only means of shelter was a highway overpass and a cardboard box. Although alone in the world, he was a survivor with a strong spirit and bright future.

I was lucky enough to find and adopt Bo, and give him the security and love that every dog should know. In return, I have won the trust of my faithful best friend and the namesake of "Bo's Bunkhouse."

A message from Bo:

Howdy and thank you for stopping by and reading about my Bunkhouse. With me as the guide, Bo's Bunkhouse was in planning for over two years prior to construction. I guess you could say that I am the inspiration behind the idea. When my Dad had to leave town, finding quality care for his best friend proved to be more than a challenge. I never felt the least bit comfortable staying in a traditional kennel. Bad smells, cold cramped sleeping quarters, and small overcrowded daycare rooms proved to be quite stressful on me. What should have been a fun vacation, suddenly felt like prison and within no time I was howling the blues.

Luckily my Dad knew there had to be a better way. He talked to lots and lots of people and quickly learned they were in the same boat as us. He also toured some of the best facilities in the country as well as gained valuable information from the knowledgeable folks at the American Boarding and Kennel Association (ABKA).

Well finally the wait is over and I hope you are as excited as me. I look forward to meeting you and sharing my Bunkhouse!
